I got diagnosed with preeclampsia at 33 weeks. I was told I would just need extra appointments to monitor symptoms. Two days later I went in for an appointment and was quickly brought upstairs to the hospitals triage. There was an extreme amount of protein in my urine and my blood pressure was increasing. I was admitted and placed on a mag drip. Another two days later my baby was delivered at exactly 34 weeks via C-section. She spent 17 days in the Nicu, until we finally brought her home.
