It Happened So Fast

I had multiple miscarriages prior to this pregnancy so we were excited for our miracle baby. I never felt great this pregnancy but I started to feel worse at around 18 wks. At 19 wks I went to the ER with upper right quadrant pain. I was sent home with the diagnosis of gall baller issues and out on a low fat diet. At 20 wks I again went to the er because I could not stand the pain anymore. I was stage 1 HELLP. My blood pressure was slightly increased but my platelets were severely low and they were worried about my liver rupturing. I was induced and delivered a baby girl at 20 wks 1 day. She was a little over 6 ounces. Worst day of my life. I have gone on to have a few more miscarriages and we have finally ended our journey of trying to have kids. HELLP took everything from me. It was a very traumatic experience. Please if you think something is wrong seek help. It’s scary how close I was to not surviving this had I waited much longer.
