I was pregnant with my second baby and everything was going well.

At 31 weeks and 3 days, I went to the ER with the most severe pain of my life. I was admitted with severe preeclampsia and HELLP. The pain was in my liver. It felt like I was being stabbed with a hot knife that radiated pain throughout my whole body. My labs were rapidly declining and I had to be put under for an emergency c-section at 31 weeks, 5 days. I was on magnesium before and after the delivery and got the steroid shot for my baby's lungs.

My daughter is still in the NICU, but is doing well for not even being 34 weeks. I’m so thankful for my medical team and that my daughter is okay.
