Sharon Moyle - Cornwall, Britain

I have recently had preeclampsia for the third time, having lost two little girls at twenty six weeks into my pregnancies, you never expect it to happen again. It came on so suddenly and unexpectedly. I still want to try for another baby, but I'm not sure, because of it happening again.

My consultant has been very supportive towards us, and tells me that next time he shall put me on low dose aspirin, which I took on my second pregnancy but developed it again at thirty two weeks. I was induced at thirty five wks and had a little girl weighing at four pounds who now is very healthy at thirteen years old.

Last year I fell pregnant again after trying for two years. Everything was fine until I reached twenty six weeks. We were totally devastated, even now I cant believe its happened. That feeling of emptyness and hurt, I thought would never go away, but the pain does get easier. Now, only four months on, not a day goes by that I dont think about my little tiny girls that I loved and lost. Thank you.
