What’s Your Story?

On October 24, 2009, at the Preeclampsia Foundation’s annual awareness and fund-raising gala Saving Grace – A Night of Hope, the Foundation will feature personal stories by people whose lives have been impacted by preeclampsia, HELLP Syndrome and other hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. The stories – all important in some respect, and some far more tragic than others – if shared, will educate others about preeclampsia and the impact the disorder can have on lives. You can spread preeclampsia awareness and raise much needed financial support for the Foundation by telling your story. If you or a woman you know developed a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy, and you would like to share your story or share how her illness affected you or your family, prepare your story (500 words or less), solicit sponsors of your story, and then submit your story and the sponsorship commitments information below, by August 15, 2009. If received by the deadline, your story will be included in a special Saving Grace program book - Celebrating Our Voices, Remembering Our Stories. As a special thank-you for your story submission, you will receive a copy of the program book.

All contributions are 100% tax-deductible. Checks should be made payable to the Preeclampsia Foundation with a Saving Grace Story Sponsorship notation. To make a contribution with a credit card, sponsors should go to http://preeclampsia.org/donate.asp and click on ‘Honor Donations.’ Sponsors should indicate that their donation is a Tribute Gift in your honor.
