Unfortunately, preeclampsia is an equal opportunity disorder and impacts all
kinds of women and their families. The good news and bad news is that
usually it is a short-term disorder and women's lives continue. For those
whose lives are unalterably changed, there is little if any support or
information. We need everyone's help. If you know someone in the media,
locally, or a celebrity who you can enlist to our cause, please contact us.
We are also looking for women with public speaking experience and a passion for the cause to be interviewed by local and national press. Please contact us at info@preeclampsia.org with the subject heading "Public Awareness" if you can help us in this way.
Finally, the best thing you can do is spread the word. Please forward our URL, www.preeclampsia.org, to your friends, neighbors, family members and co-workers. The more people who know the signs of preeclampsia, the better chance we have of making a difference.
