The Preeclampsia Foundation has marked Saturday, September 20, 2008, for Saving Grace: A Night of Hope, its 4th annual dinner and program benefiting the Preeclampsia Foundation. This year’s event, which will be held in Washington, D.C., will focus on “Advancing Preeclampsia Awareness to Save Lives,” highlighting the new research that directly connects preeclampsia awareness with health outcomes of mothers and their babies.

WHAT: Saving Grace: A Night of Hope: 4th annual dinner and program to benefit the Preeclampsia Foundation

WHO: - Featured Speaker: CNN's Elizabeth Cohen, CNN Medical Correspondent and Host of "The Empowered Patient"
- National Patient Advocate Lauren Larsen
- Dr. Christopher Redman, President of the International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy
- Honorees include Dr. James M. Roberts, Magee Womens Research Institute, recipient of the Hope Award for Lifetime Achievement; Caryn Rogers, Hope Award for Volunteer of the Year; and four deserving researchers will receive $100,000 in grant funding from the Preeclampsia Foundation.
