Re : Calling all Bakers
I am in CT, and have a homemade brownie recipe my grandmother gave me!! I would love to help!
Re : Calling all Bakers
Eleni - what do you think about each baker including the recipe for their dessert with their box of goodies too?

Re : Calling all Bakers
I'm not a baker but I want to bid!
Re : Calling all Bakers
Sounds like a fun auction item. I may have to enter a bid myself. ;-)
Re : Calling all Bakers
Thanks for all the contributions thus far. Here's what we're doing and what we still need: one of our Live Auction items for Saving Grace is going to be a Dessert-A-Month type of item with the winning bidder receiving a new dessert each month from across the country. Here's the description:
Twelve families from across the United States have committed to sending you a homemade dessert for a once-a-month sweet indulgence. What makes this special?  Each dessert comes from a family deeply touched by preeclampsia and/or HELLP Syndrome. They have made this commitment as a way to demonstrate a nationwide show of gratitude for your support of the Preeclampsia Foundation’s mission to save lives and alleviate suffering. Your sweet delivery begins in January with our very own Jill Owens Siegel's family recipe for Dr. Pepper Cake!
As a contributor, all you need to do is prepare your dessert and ship it to the winning bidder during your assigned month. A nice touch would be to include a bit about your story and a note of thanks for their support.
What we still need are some bakers in the Western United States -- I have California and Colorado covered. The midwest is well represented, but could still use somebody in the New England area.
Becky in Virginia
Jill in California
Rosemary in Pennsylvania
Nicole in Texas
I've got you all signed up and just need you to email me your full names/contact info and what you're going to prepare. (Denise, I'm sure your banana bread is delicious (feel free to send it to me personally!!), but I'm heavy in the middle US and need some folks on the ends.
Thanks everybody!!
