I know no words can possibly help you deal with everything going on, but please know everyone here is here for you and hoping and praying every day that Ethan will continue to surprise everyone.

Unfortunately scarred lung tissue can only be overcome with growth. However, the fact that he's growing well is GREAT! He just needs time.

Not wanting to add any questions you have to answer, but how have his vent settings been? Are they able to decrease them? Is he on a conventional vent?

Gosh sweetie this has been a real rollercoaster ride and I am so sorry for what you are going through. Don't give up because obviously Ethan got his mommy's strength and he hasn't given up! He's a little fighter (and becoming a big fighter!!) and hey none of those dr's thought he'd get this far so just keep trucking and prove them wrong again. I agree you can't lose another it is just awful to be going through this aftr losing Ella and I believe in my heart that Ethan is meant to be here on earth with you to help you heal. He's so close!

My heart dropped when I opened this forum and saw the title of your post. My heart then bled as I read it. Ethan was born not long after I started visiting and posting to this site and I have always searched for your updates. Know that even though this circle of love and support is not there physically, we are always there with you, supporting you. Take our strength and use it for yourself and Ethan. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.
