Belle -

There is a website you should check out - it's www.empty-cradles.com. They have "virtual" stars you can choose for your baby and it'll be on the site! It doesn't cost anything and I've bookmarked the site so I can see Erik's "star" anytime, day or night! Hope this helps!

I can not imagine the depth of this heart ache.. I will being praying for you during the holidays, perhaps the prayers will touch you and warm your heart. I recently went to a "Mothers Hope" which was a grief and loss support conference for those that have lost children and one of the speakers - she was great by the way- stated that starting a new tradition in your child name can be of some healing. I'm just trying to think of something .. for example, going ice skating after your Thanksgiving meal...(this is something we do here in NE). Something that will get you out for some fresh air--something special for you and your dh that you can do together. I hope my words have been uplifting even if for a brief moment....

I'm so sorry. That is something that no mother should ever have to do.

Erica,

I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dh. I wish I could give you a real hug, but I'll have to send lots of e-hugs instead. Take care. I wish you peace and strength during the upcoming holidays. Remember we're here for you.

I'm so sorry, Erica. Even though it's been almost 4 years, I still cry when I go to the cemetery. As hard as it may be to believe, you'll get through this. Hugs!
