I hope the girls had a fun birthday party and that you are feeling better. I'm sorry you are going through so much still. At least you have a helpful hubby. Hope things get easier soon.

Thanks guys. I'm doing a little better now. DH has redoubled his efforts to take over feedings at night and let me get a little rest. My sanity is He is going to take off early on Friday and do most of the setup for the girls' birthday party for me too.

I have got to get better so I can go back to work. I'm starting to worry about how much longer they will hold my position for me. There is no one filling in for me, just my co-workers taking up the slack until I get back. (They are also awesome, btw.) I've been out for 5 months now and had planned to go back to work in less than 2 weeks. So, this darn thing better straighten up and heal, dang it!!

Oh I know what your going through. My c-section opened up an got infected, it was gross. Of course the doctor said because I was doing too much(like that would make it infected I guess). The one side that opened up healed funny and I still get twitches of pain whenever or when I stretch a certain way.

((hugs)) I do know what a pain that is, my 2nd section with my little girl had to be packed for weeks when it came open. Don't blame yourself, my dh was reading me the riot act for doing too much and causing it and the doctor told him it had notheing to do with activity level. If it is going to come apart it will because of a fluid pocket or just not healing right and there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

Oh Kathy, I'm so sorry!!! I hope things get better. It never rains, it pours, doesn't it??? Maybe you're just getting a bunch of 'rough stuff' all at once and then your life will smooth out! I hope so!

Oh I'm so sorry and hope you heal quickly this time. You definitely have enough going on! Hope the party is lots of fun for everyone :)

I hope you don't mind me asking b/c my incision is something I worry about, but when it opens up, is it the result of activity or doing something? The other day (I'm 4 weeks PP) when I sneezed I was in the worst pain ever and was convinced I had opened up the incision. It didn't, but got me to wondering what causes it and I assume you know b/c it bleeds again?

I'm so sorry. It seems like having a baby can mess up our bodies for a loooong time.

I hope it heals quickly and you can move on to just enjoying life with your kids.
