Sounds like it will be tough, but so glad you are doing the right thing for yourself and others. All the best.

Medical Board investigations has to be done each time there is a complaint. This also can be a VERY stressful time as they will be contacting you and asking many many different questions.

I wish you the very best with the results. We are all here for you.

Whatever the results, it must be comforting to know that your concerns are being investigated. Well done!

I got a phone call from the Medical Board of Exami

Postby gossamer » Mon May 24, 2004 08:48 pm

I officially made a complaint against my original OB-Gyn. I got a phone call today from the medical examiners office. They told me they will be sending a letter to the doctor and he has 14 days to respond.

She then said "If an investigation is started, and it looks to me there will be, you will get a letter in the mail with your investigators name."

You cannot even begin to understand how thrilled I was to hear there will probably be an investigation started. I've gotten good news from the lawyer I consulted, and now to hear this. To think my daughter's death might be vindicated and she might be able to help other mama's make sure this doesn't happen to them.

I know his license won't be taken away or anything like that, but if somebody does their research, I want there to be a black mark by his name that might give them pause.

Anyway, please come celebrate with me.

"Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. Before you were a minute old, I would have died for you.
This is the miracle of life. " -Maureen Hawkins
