Hi Chris -

Email me directly and we can talk about the coordinator role and our current project. I have not yet heard from Michelle. Even if she does respond there is room for both of you to share in the leadership role. I also have a woman who lives in McLean VA and she has been the coordinator for the DC area and we're considering having that whole region of DC and northern VA be covered by the same people. You and she could share in that role.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Carol

Hi Michelle -

Sorry for the delay in responding to your post. I've just recently taken on the role of helping to coordinate groups who are interested in starting a 'chapter' in their state or region. Sounds like you are excited to get something started in the VA Beach area.

If you are still interested in getting involved, we do not currently have a coordinator for the VA area. If you are interested, here's the scoop: the coordinator will be the key contact person and will basically organize/lead the group's activities, communicate with the members in your area, and be the liaison to myself and the national office. Consider what time you have available to commit and whether you feel comfortable being in a leading role. We currently have 15 states/regions represented and are thrilled to add more passionate ladies to our circle!

If you are interested, I'll set up a phone call with you to get some information and to answer any questions. If we're comfortable with everything and we agree to move forward, I would send you some coordinator documents and the list of registered members in your area for you to make contact with.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Carol
