I was impressed also. The kids and I had such a great time. It was great getting all the kids together, and I wish we could do it more often. I am thankful for both Tracy and Melissa. It is so ironic how we are all connected. The walk was so moving, the park was beautiful, and we made a difference!!!! I don't know what more we could have asked for. I can't wait until next year!!!

This really was a fantastic location and the weather couldn't have been better. Tracy, it was so WONDERFUL to finally meet you. I meant what I said about you. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. I am so honored to have been a part of it and I am really hoping that I am around next year to be a part of that one too.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work. Riley has already asked if she can do another lemonade stand next year. She wants to do one next week, but I am sure she can wait. HA!

I loved meeting everyone! I can't wait to get together again!

Glad to hear the walk was such a success. My DH and I did the Toledo walk two years ago and the Marion walk last year. We hoped to do the Dayton walk this year, but it was the weekend my daughter turned 3, so needless to say we were very busy.

Hopefully next year for us!

Congratulations to all of you! 25 people is huge! And I am so glad you all made the connections you did. The PF's first "volunteer" meeting was in my living room in 2000 and we had five people? As we know with our losses--one life/one volunteer is enough to make a difference. Thanks for all you do. I am incredibly proud to know each and everyone of you.

A Great day for our walk

I really can not say Thank you enough for everyone's help with the Dayton WAT. We had a beautiful day, a little hot and humid but the trail was in the shade. And all the activities were inside a huge room filled with AC (YEAH) Ben (my DH) did a wonderful job doing everything on his hunny do list (I will be paying for it for a very long time [;)]) Between Melissa and Ben they did a wonderful job speaking and the tears were flowing. We had a small crowd but the connections that were made were HUGE!

The Children's Discovery Garden was a hit with the kids since they had water falls, a music maze, etc.

The Bake Sale - I never seen so much baked items in my life. It was wonderful. What we did not sell Danielle suggested we bring it to the Ronald McDonald house in Dayton. After a few phone calls - we have many thankful parents for wonderful "goodies" (it was a good thing because my son was eye up most of them)

Melissa had a table and I can tell you how beautiful her jewelry is in person.

Riley had a lemonade stand and she raised 15.00

We had 25 walkers and raised just a little over $1,000. The rewards and comments from some people was enough for me to say wow, all the blood, sweat and tears were well worth it!

We took a vote and we will be holding the 4th Annual Preeclampsia Awareness Walk at the same location! We took notes on what to do for next year (You can really see the planning group for next year all ready starting to plan!)

Way to go Ladies... I am so proud of each and every one of you!!!

Pictures will be posted whenever I can unpack the box where the camera is [:D]
