Re: Any Northern Californias
Did you make it to the Bay Area Promise Walk this year? If not, definitely check it out for next year! We have a great group of survivors in that area.

Hi I am from Sacramento

Re: Any Northern Californias
Hey Nanay11, we have a Promise Walk every June in San Jose... not sure if that is close enough to drive reasonably, but it's a great event. Let me know and I can put you in touch with the walk coordinator, Jennifer Smith. You can also find more information at http://www.promisewalk.org/sanjose, although of course the event is concluded for 2013. But we will be back in full swing come January!
I am so sorry for your loss. We always have a special segment at each walk to memorialize our loved ones, and the San Jose event often does a dove release, which is really beautiful. I hope you will be able to join us.

Re : Any Northern Californias
We have had a lot of Northern CA interest starting Promise Walks in the past year, but no takers on starting a walk. I would like to offer support and guidance on how you can start a Promise Walk in your area. I am from Northern CA and now live in San Diego. I have coordinated the San Diego walk for the past three years and am the 2010-11 Promise Walk Director.
Please email me on how to start a 2011 Promise Walk: [email protected]
Of course I will help anyone start the planning process in your area, regardless of where you are in CA or any other state for that matter.
