Just wanted to add I was on LDA with second pregnancy till the day of delivery. Not sure if that is what did the trick, but I'm so glad I did it!

LDA here with every pregnancy. This one I started before TTC to prevent MC as well. :)

You're awesome, Caryn! No worries about the delay - I ran away from Christmas on a skiing Holiday. Thank you for all this great and organized info.

I finally did it! Sorry about that; December tends to be a pretty busy work month for me.

I'll go ahead and group all the studies on this in the "recent studies" thread in News, under "low-dose aspirin and PE". But I'm about to lose my Wifi, so it will have to be later today.

Does LDA help keep BP down too?

I too am on LDA. I started around 12 weeks. My MFM saw uterine artery knotching at this point and said to begin the LDA. At 18 weeks the knotching had gone away completely. Knotching can be an
indicator of pre-disposition to PE. So,for me, it was great to get rid of it. I say it was the LDA, as that is all I changed between 12 and 18 weeks.

My MFM suggested to take it while TTC. I followed her advice. I am 34 weeks 3 days right now. No sign of PE Thank God !!! I guess LDA helps. Just have to be cautious with bleeding since Aspirin thins blood.
