My cousin's kids have both cut teeth by three/four months, but I think the norm is a little later than that. The drooling thing, though definitely a part of teething, is also a constant when babies are in that oral phase of gumming and tasting everything. My son was a faucet for six months before he ever cut a tooth (and not until 10 months) and Ella hasn't drooled much at all but has cut two teeth now (at 8 months). Buy a lot of bibs and burp cloths; it gets wet [;)]!
No mine seemed to start around 4/5 months and he didn't get a tooth until he was 10 months old!! I have read though that babies start to teeth anywhere from 3-7 months old. Enjoy the teething, LOL!:)
