Hi to everyone! :) and Thanks! AJ is doing well for how tiny he was, he did have 151 days in the NICU, and he spent 3 months on the oscilator, and vent. He also perf. his bowel, and he had a PDA ligation, in total 5 sugeries. He came home with a g-tube, and he is now about 12lbs! However, he is really progressig and doing great. Wow, a 13oz? That is awesome! I pray that her little Myles is doing good, i will def. be thinking about him! I'm glad to hear that all of your little ones are doing great! I am on my 2nd pregnancy, and I'm hoping to make it a lot farther and bigger this time around ;)

Welcome! This is a great place for support, advice, and sometimes just a great sound board for blowing off some steam and frustration.

I have 3 preemies. I didn't find this board until after my second pregnancy. It has been the best place for understanding what we go through as preemie parents!

Hi Leah and welcome to "the boards" aka forums [:D]
It's really amazing the advances in medicine these days.
Your son was 15 oz?! Wow!
My daughter was 2.12 7 yrs ago (dinosaurs roamed the earth [:o)]) for the time that was considered small and frail.
And like Kara mentioned, we have a new member with a very tiny guy (Myles) as well. I hope you Myles mom have a chance to talk when Myles is feeling better.

It's great to have you!
Jenn

Hi Leah! Glad you found this place - I found it when my little man was about 6 months old. It's been a real help for me ...

How are you feeling?

Hi there Leah! Thanks for stopping by. We have lots of knowledgable preemie mamma's round here. 15 ounces....what a little miracle! We have a WI member who's just had a 13 ounce little boy...about 3 weeks ago.

I had a giant preemie in comparison...my 2.5 pounder.

How's your little one doing these days? We just had DD PDA closed in December. She turned 2 in November.

Make yourself at home!

Hey Guys, I am new to this board ... I thought I would just say Hi to everyone! I have a preemie, he is 9 months old 5 months corrected. He weighed 15oz when he was born due to severe pe at 24 weeks. Anyways, I don't know many other preemie parents out there, and you guys seem to know your stuff :)

Leah
