I just tried a yoga for relaxation class on Monday and it was amazing. No impact so not an exercise class, but I've not felt that relaxed in a while. When I found myself in a stressful situation afterwards, I used the breathing techniques and actually felt more calm than I expected.

As for people that stress you out, you might just have to tell them you'll have to speak with them once your son is safely here. Some people just don't really get it, but if they are stressing you out, you have every right to say something to them if you think you can.

I agree with walks if you can...otherwise I know many people are not a fan of meds these days but Zoloft works wonders for me :)

Are you well enough to take walks? Exercise is a huge stress relief for me - especially when I can be outside. I can work out all sorts of stuff in my head when I am out there - and for me having no music is ever better. Of course this would be a good thing to run by your OB first.

I think that not putting yourself in the situation to have to deal with certain people is a good idea.

Also, think about talking to your OB about your stress, there might be things that they can recommend as well.

Take care.
