:) It's silly I ordered a fried foods plate from Pizza Hut and a chicken finger meal last night from McD's. And the only exercise above the unmentionable kind :) was juggling so far today. I guess this is what a vacation is for..

Sounds like a good plan. :)

Here on the Texas coast I don't have the excuse of crummy weather (today it's sunny and in the 70s), but during the holidays I really slacked off on the exercise front.

My sisters want me to do a bootcamp challenge with them for the next month but I'm not sure I'm up for it. The time commitment would be 1 hour every day and 3 1/2 hours every Saturday. Ack!

the Wii sounds like fun. But my tv is a little behind the times as well as my game counsel. Instead I bought a hoola hoop a long time ago. A friend bought me a juggling kit.
As for the change of habits; the weather gets colder, there are better television shows to watch, there is too much paperwork to do and I don't walk as much but I still have a little energy left. So I try to find exercises that hold some joy in them. So even on crummy days, I can laugh :)

I got the Wii fit for Christmas too! The Shaun White Snowboarding is soo much fun! I also got the Raving Rabbids TV Party but haven't played it much yet. Haven't even tried the actual Wii fit software either b/c the snowboarding is so great. Wish I could snowboard too, but we live at the beach.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to the original question. I'm sure any activity that gets you moving is good for you though.

No idea, are you doing it with a nintendo wii? I only ask because I was looking at games and there are a ton of them like that out there! I just got a wii fit for xmas so I'm excited to try some of them out. I ended up buying a snowboarding one that looks super fun! Too bad I don't know how to snow board for real.

No clue. Sounds like fun though. I would guess both count as aerobic exercise.

Why the change of routine?

Exercises

Postby jsu_work » Thu Aug 29, 638318 8:27 pm

I was walking approx 1 to 2 hours a night but recently gave that up for watching tv and snacking.
So I'm trying hoola hooping and juggling. Does anyone have an idea of how good an exercise those two are???
