Thanks so much to all for your messages and nice words about Jane! It is remaining stressful here. She had her 4 day weight appt. yesterday and had lost too much weight. She is SO sleepy. So the dr. said to feed her every hour around the clock for a while. We are doing our best---I am pumping all the time as she is very not into nursing when I am at ALL full. I do get her to nurse a few times a day, but mostly she is having expressed milk and a little formula. Last night seemed like a breakthrough as she did stay awake a while and nurse!

I am feeling sort of upset as I don't think my pregnancy was handled as well as it could be sometimes. Esp. I keep thinking how I was told it was only necessary to check her weight by U/S every 3 weeks. When they checked it 3 weeks before she was born, it was 5.5 pounds, but she was only 6lb 2oz at birth. My BP were not that great those 3 weeks, and I had +2 protein in my urine a lot. I wonder if those last 3 weeks in the womb did a thing for her. All the BPPs were fine, and the labs too. I guess I should not think about that, just that she is here! I just hope I can get her eating better and weighing more! She is SO PRECIOUS when she is awake, just the sweetest thing ever I do have to admit! The boys are doing pretty well with her, more so my older son who will hold her and talk to her. My younger son is a bit more jealous but not saying, just being mean to his brother and demanding! After all, she "stole his birthday"!

Thanks again. I am thinking of all of you!
