This past pregnancy swiss cheese kept me going! I never feel that hungry when I'm pregnant, and the one thing that always tasted good (once I got over my early vinager cravings!) was swiss cheese. I ate it plain, melted it over things, rolled it around pretzel rods, and just plain ate tons of it.

Mmmmmmm...chocolate milk has served me well for both pregnancies.
My current favourite snack is a muesli lavash flatbread (like a cracker), with old white cheddar. A lovely contrast between the sweetness of the raisins in the flatbread and the sharpness of the cheese -- awwwwww, the best of both worlds. Yummy!

The chocolate milk thing is interesting to me. I craved it with my last pregnancy and would buy the big bottles of it and drink it all at once. My first pregnancy back in 1995 I craved and could only keep down vanilla shakes... weird.

I ate bananas like crazy when pg with DD. That was probably the healthiest snack I'd have.[;)]

LOL How funny about the chocolate milk! For 1/2 of my HG experience in my first pg, all I could drink was chocolate milk. Sounds weird, but I couldn't drink regular milk nor eat chocolate. Somehow the mix worked. (that was after overloading on de-carbonated 7-up for the first half...couldn't take it anymore)

Mmmm...I remember the nurse in our breastfeeding class (when I was pg with Nicky) telling us that chocolate milk was one of the best snacks a preggo woman could have! I don't remember why, but I latched (no pun intended) onto that one quickly!!
