Sandy,

I just read your response to my post, but figured I'd reply over here. Isn't it so exciting to actually see the little heartbeat this early?? Dh and I were thrilled, I didn't think it would be so clear. Like you said, we are pretty close in due dates, so it will be fun to follow your pregnancy!

Add me to the sick and tired club. I remember being this exhausted last time, but the queasiness is a whole new ballgame. It really is nice to be able to nap when Maggie does.

Glad to hear that your appointment went well!

Hey Neighbor-just got the internet back on the ship. Hooray!!! I'm so glad to hear that you had a great appt. That's cool that you get another ultrasound in 6 weeks. Hopefully by then you will feel better in the nausea dept.

Seems like 2nd pregnancies and deliveries go much better than 1st ones. At least for most I've heard about. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be the same for you.

Can't wait to get together soon!!!

Hi Gloria,
I have just learned to spell and pronounce it, but I haven't gotten further than that. Hopefully someone who knows more about this will let us know in layman terms soon!

Here is a silly question for you....what does the homocystiene levels represent? I vaguely remember on my medical reports it saying that my levels were elevated right before I delivered my son.

Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, thanks everyone for chiming in. Yes, I am heterozygous for MTHFR, so that's the good one. So far, my homocystiene levels are fine...had blood drawn yesterday, so will wait to hear about what it was looking like yesterday.

I'm going to call my OB's office to ask if in addition to the extra folic acid they're suggesting I take, if I also do take the extra B vitamins as well. Heck, if it's not going to hurt anything, bring on the pills!!!!

I'll bet this will be a smooth-sailing pregnancy. It will be such a dream to get to 37 or 38 or even 39 weeks!
