20 week update
We are so happy, everything is going great so far (always a relative term in my pregnancies). I had my 20 week ultrasound and the baby measured around the 50 to 60th percentile. Huge accomplishment for me. Both my others to were labeled IUGR by 18 weeks. They always thought this was do to my hyperemesis in both, and my small frame. I always wondered if it was really the PE starting to affect them that early. I am getting very nervous because my son had stopped growing around 22 weeks. Which is right around the corner. My hyperemesis is slowly improving. I am still on Zofran but can make it some days without. I am starting to keep a limited diet down, but cant drink straight water yet. I have regained all my pre pregnancy weight back. Again this is a huge accomplishment, with my first I didn't "gain" my first pound untill 29 weeks. Do the fact that I am keeping enough food down to be at my pre pregnancy weight makes my feel like I am healthier so far in this pregnancy. Another great thing is that so far my BP is low ( similar to my other pregnancies). I even had a noticeable 2nd trimester dip. Dr said that was a great sign. He said that many preeclampsia dont get the dip in BP, which can be a sign to keep a closer eye on things. He is going to have me stay on the lda and the Zofran for now. We will have another growth scan at 24 weeks. We also found out we are on team pink.
