Good News - MFM Appt.

Postby crocusgirl » Mon Mar 19, 2012 04:43 pm

I had my MFM appointment today at our hospital PE clinic...and I got some good news. The arterial notching that was present at 20 weeks has corrected itself, and my BP is still looking good (105/57). So, they have decided I have a less than 30% chance of recurrence, and they gave me my walking papers. I will still have one more scan once I am into the 3rd trimester, and I will see my OB more often than a normal pregnancy, but things are really looking positive. WHEW. I am still going to be paranoid until the wee girl comes, but it's nice to have some relief. :D
Severe PE/HELLP - diagnosed 31 weeks, Violet born 32 weeks - April 23, 2010 - 2.5 lb (IUGR). 5 weeks in NICU, home and going strong.
