Wedding ring doesn't fit today..

hand swelling is just one of those things, most pregnant women can't wear their wedding rings once their third trimester hit! My mom always wore hers on a chain, and she never had pre-e. I would pay more attention to your weight, your blood pressure, urine tests, etc. This can be a very normal preggo symptom and isn't a judge of high bp.

I had to have mine cut off during my first pregnancy, I was around 30 weeks as well... I made it to 37 weeks before being DXed and it was a relatively mild case (made 38 weeks for delivery).

I'm excited to be 30 weeks too...but hesitant to get too excited since you never know what could be ahead! Well, I tried putting on my ring again today and now it fits. (though a little tight)...so I think it's something I will keep an eye on and mention to my doctor this coming week. My weight hasn't gone up any, my bp is good (around 119/77), and I feel ok, so I'm hoping all is well!

Jean, you can always call your doc! Hands swelling can definitely be normal, but we do say face and hands swelling in our signs and symptoms

Just call and ask about the hands swelling, I hate to think of you crying and worried. But I'm so excited that you're 30 weeks!!

Hey I know what its like to be paranoid with a pregnancy after a loss! Its terrible it takes toll on you physically and emotionally! After I lost my son in June 2010 I was in the hospital every two days telling the Dr I was dyeing of something. Luckily he was an great dr and tried to understand what I was going threw! And threw my pregnancy with my daughter oh my. I was a basket case I had to talk myself down from zipping to the ER for nothing a few times. But I made it a day shy of 36 weeks and have a beautiful little girl and I still panic over everything. PE haunts us for life. If you ever need to talk private msg me. I'm on at least once a day! As for the wedding rings my husband and I got married when I was 16 weeks pregnant with my daughter and by 20 weeks it didn't fit and I had a PE free pregnancy!

I have been without mine for a few weeks now. If it makes you feel better, my first pregnancy where I had no issues with PE, I had to stop wearing mine around 30 weeks. And I don't know of a single one of my friends that finished their pregnancies wearing their rings either. As long as you don't see any other swelling or PE symptoms, try not to let it get to you too much.

has your ring been getting tighter? mine have been slowly getting tighter, but i didn't notice until last week when they started leaving marks on my finger. The weather is cooling off here, so they fit a little better as long as I'm cool or comfortable. but mostly i've just left them off this week.

My wedding ring is not fitting on my finger today. (I am 30 wks)...I weighed and did not notice any increase..my hands don't look particularly swollen, but I'm not the best judge of that. Last time when I was pg, my ring would not fit and 1-2 wks later I had HELLP. I'm a little concerned, but it's hard to know what is "regular pg symptoms" or not...
I got my flu shot yesterday, but I don't think that would cause my fingers to swell (?)
Had myself a good cry this morning b/c I wasn't sure if I should have gotten the shot or not...I just don't want it to hurt the baby in any way...I'm such a worrier..he has moved today for me, but it seems a little smaller mvmnts than usual...though I'm probably just paranoid. My arms sure hurts though. :~(
Just feeling kind of scared and worried today.
