I wanna say I dont even know now if I have had a dip...my bp always seems to range anywhere from 110-120/74-88...but I still had some lows thrown in there ...110/67
In the very beginning like 5 weeks I hovered around 108/73
at 16 weeks I was averaging like 114/78
at 20 weeks around the same as 16
now im about 117/80...but still with some lows...so who knows...if I have anxiety I can literally take it 10 times and watch it continue to raise...gosh I hate this!

Re: 2nd trimester dip
Anyone else want to chime in since this post is a little older?
Like Laura was, I'm 15 wks and hoping my dip is on the way soon as my pressures have been seemingly creeping up the last few days. (Not high enough to call in or consistently "up", but sometimes as high as 125ish and 85ish which they usually haven't been so far this pregnancy.) So a dip to get me through a few more weeks would be nice. (I know I'll probably end up on blood pressure meds at some point this pregnancy, but I'll be grateful to avoid it for as long as we safely can.) Thanks to everyone who has replied so far, I have hope my dip may still be coming.

Re : 2nd trimester dip
My dip was around 18 weeks or so and is just now starting back up at 25wks. My highs back a week were 130/80 so we added one more dose of aldomet and I am back down to 120/70's for highs. I NEVER saw those in my first pregnancy. I am so excited to be "under control"! Holding out hopes and dreams of a full term c-section at 37 weeks! With my first pregnancy we would up the dose but I would only hover at the same highs for about a week before they climbed. I never had them go down before like this... makes me so happy!
Good Luck, hope you see a dip soon!

Re : 2nd trimester dip
I never had a really big dip- noticed only a few points off, but my BPS have been pretty good so far and I am 26 weeks now. Doc said not all women get that dip

Re : 2nd trimester dip
I think I got mine around 20w. It wasn't a significant dip, maybe 5 points on average? Though my lows were really nice and low, like 100/60. I haven't seen pressures like that in over a month. Bummer.

Re : 2nd trimester dip
Ok thanks Ladies! Guess ill hold out a bit longer ;)
Re : 2nd trimester dip
Mine was around 14 weeks and I'm still experiencing it (yay!). We've had many people not report seeing until the 20th+ week, though, like Jules and Amanda mentioned.
Re : 2nd trimester dip
I only saw this around 23 weeks, so it can arrive quite late!
