I would definilty get it checked out. Hopefully it is nothing but infections in incisions can get nasty. I had one that had to be packed with guaze.

I had my staples out prior to discharge with Nicolas so I didn't really have any issues with them. My MFM with Ella, though, required that the staples remain until 7 days pp. The staples hurt FAR worse than the section because the skin around each staple began to heal and grow around the staples which really hurt. Each little staple point was raised with a small bump around it, but I don't think it was infected. I would think if the site was infected, then the incision would be inflamed and leaking fluid. How does it look? I'm glad you're being seen tomorrow since it's always better to be safe in these cases. You may not want to leave a bandage on it unless it's oozy just so that it can get air; they were adament that I not cover mine. I don't know, though, just a thought.

How's that gorgeous man doing? Being loved on by his big sisters, I'm guessing! :)

CSection infection?

Just got home yesterday after having a Csection on Tuesday, where one of the staples was, the bump was raised and had puss in it, we cleaned it a bit and put a bandage on it. Everything else looks fine, obviously, I will go to my OB tomorrow, but have any of you suffered from this? Could this just be a simple infection in the site of the staple or the start of a larger infection?
