Congratulations!! I'm with Trish I remember you as well - I delivered the same timeframe as you did with your number 2. That's an awesome Christmas gift - I'm excited for you. Best wishes for an easy nine months!

Re : I'm baaaack...
Congrats!!! I remember you - I was pregnant 2 years ago with my #3 & delivered a week before you (at 36 weeks). Hope this one is easy peasy for you! :)

Congratulations - what a wonderful Christmas present. I hope that this pregnancy is your best one yet!
Take care.
Take care.
I'm baaaack...
I found out Christmas day that I am pregnant with #3.
I'm not sure how many of you remember me: I was here this time two years ago when pregnant with #2. My first pregnancy, I had pre-e that was mismanaged with onset of around 35w and headaches and visual disturbances as well as protein around 38w, but I was not induced until my due date which resulted in severe pre-e during labor and afterward. I went home on BP meds, and my BP did not return to pre-pre-e levels until my DD was 6 months old.
While I did have a "pre-e free" 2nd pregnancy, my BP did rise. At 10w, it was 90/50 but in the end, with my diastolic hit diagnostic criteria in my last 2 weeks. Both times I went to triage, the nurse said, "I don't like those BPs" and took them again after the 20 min strip when they dropped under the threshhold. I ended up staying healthly and delivered via c/s for PROM and macrosomia at 41w.
My BP remained borderline for 8-9 months after the birth of my 2nd. My OB referred me to my PCP who said we would be watchful but that I was close to being medicated. Now, at last check, my BP was 116/75.
I'm sure I will be managed as "normal" but cautiously since my OB is great with high risk patients. I'm hoping to VBAC this one, so I'm doubly hoping that my BP stays in check and I don't have to be delivered early!
It's good to be back. I hope to see some familiar faces soon!
