I'm excited for you - you'll be holding him so soon! I hope the NST went really well again. Thinking of you and looking forward to reading your birth announcement.

I've been paranoid this entire pregnancy until the last few weeks. The MFM told me early on I would develop PE again because of some indicators. I am so so happy that I've had no complications. I've felt like the girl who cried wolf a couple times... but better safe than sorry. It been wonderful to have this forum to vent to. I'm keeping close watch on my body. Still see stars sometimes, but apparently thats due to anemia and nothing else. I've got an NST today... I know little Joshua will pass with flying colors - his NSTs are always perfect. He measured 7 lb 3 oz last week at the u/s. He is so incredibly active. It feels like he does flips in my belly. It is really starting to sink in that in a few days he'll be in my arms.
Thank you (everyone) for being so supportive and listening to me.

6 more days

Postby milesymommy » Sun Aug 30, 2009 07:13 pm

I am now 38w2d with no complications!! On Friday, the OB said they could induce me at 39 weeks and scheduled me for next Saturday 9/5. She said 39w was fine to induce by, given that I had PE and HELLP last pregnancy and my BP is rising (130s/80s, 140s/90s), although I've had no other symptoms. I mentioned the appt with a midwife 2 weeks ago said no induction, and she disagreed. Yippee! I wanted Friday, but it was already full. So she told me I could go ask L&D in person to put me on a waitlist for the 4th. When I went to L&D, they said they wouldn't do it on Friday since I would only be 40w6d - I didn't correct them and say, um, it would be 39w since I so badly want to deliver sooner rather than later. I have another appt on 9/3, so I'll confirm the delivery plan. I am so excited. This pregnancy has gone so much smoother than my last and I am so thankful for everything.
Wish us luck!!!
