no RMH nearby. The Neonatal doc was talking to us about how that is very high on his list of things he would like to make happen. But the hospital did give us free hookups.
One of my fondest memories of that time is the fact that we didn't have an external holding tank for our "black water" so twice a week we had to unhook and drive our poop water to a dump station down the street.
Aaahh, such fun times those were....

Joanne! Congrats! I am expecting a December baby too, but I am thinking I will probably deliver in November - hopefully not sooner! When Hannah was born, we lived a little over an hour away from the hospital and we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House off and on for nearly four months. Is there a Ronald McDonald House near your hospital? We paid $12 a night, but they also let us stay free part of the time since I was not working. Another RMH near us lets all residents stay free. You might want to see if there is one nearby.

Best wishes to you!
