Katie, how sweet of your DH to call your DR and how wonderful and understanding of her to take you early! It always makes me happy to hear of DRs who are also kind and understanding human beings. :)
179-180bpm is a wonderful, STRONG heartbeat! Yay baby!
I hope you can relax a little.. as Su said, the worry comes in waves... but I think we get better at handling it. I'm so glad you have such a good support system around you.

Oh Katie I am glad you are feeling better. I've been so tired that it's been hard for me to respond, to everything, but I read your post and felt your heartbreak- pregnancy after PE is hard enough but pregnancy after losing your baby and PE is... well.... unspeakable. My doctors went out of their way to reassure me and to be honest- at 37 weeks- I still don't feel safe I don't think I will feel safe til Samar is born. I am so glad you heard the heartbeat..... and be prepared. It comes and goes in waves, you will feel scared again and it's NORMAL and OK..... ((HUGS)) I have faith all this will be ok.

Katie, being pregnant again after losing Griffin was one of the hardest times of my life, I had very few symptoms early on, except exhaustion and lack of a period, and I was very scared. It did get better as the weeks went by, but it was never fun. You will be ok, just keep going along day by day, minute by minute if you have to. Hugs.

I am sorry that you are feeling that way right now. I don't know if it helps, but in my pregnancies I havn't really had that many pregnancy symptoms either in the beginning. I think it is really different from person to person. I really hope it works out for you. Good luck on your next appointment.
