Hmm
My OB and MFM never mentioned delivering earlier than 38 weeks because of my incision type. I have an inverted T. I will have to ask at my appointment tomorrow.

At least here 37 weeks is considered full-term (it used to be 38 weeks), so 36 weeks is very close to that. :)

I am glad I'm not alone in an early c/s. Everyone keeps asking me "Why, it's too early" But at 36-37 weeks the baby is technically full term right?

That's the plan for me. Amnio at 36, if the baby's lungs are mature they will take him/her then, if not they will take the baby at 37.

My OB said something about scheduling a c-section at 38 weeks.
I just laughed- my last two came at 25 and 24 and this time I'm carrying twins.

My dr said we should pray for 34 weeks, as the stats are so good for 34 weekers, but we will definitely not go beyond 36-37 weeks!

My doctor says, best case scenario, she'll check lungs at 36, but we won't deliver any later than 37. I had an emergency c-section last May and she doesn't want to risk rupturing the placenta (or my uterus).

I will be delivered between 36/37 weeks. My ob doesn't want to take any chances so she says the sooner, the better. We will also do an amnio, but deliver regardless of what it says.

I am scheduled for 39 weeks due to previous pre-e and HELLP and now my GD. I am hoping to make it 39 weeks! I am almost at 36 which is a blessing!

Ditto lots of you lovely ladies, I had a classical c-section last time so ob won't let me go past 35 wks this time due to the risk fo rupturing. Hey I'd be THRILLED with 35 wks :)
