Keep hanging in there. I too find the hospital frustrating, but I'm glad that you are being cared for so well. In a very short time you won't even remember any of those frustrations. Keep breathing and maybe try some relaxing visualizations of yourself doing something fun. For me, it is playing in the ocean. You're doing great! Will be thinking about you.

I'm thinking of you too, Jen. Hope they get your blood sugars sorted really soon - and although it's never nice to be in hospital, it's good to know they're taking such good care of you and Allison.

High bllod sugars can really make you feel bad (SICK) so it's good that they are going to straighten it out. Unfortunately, it's not something they can send you home with until they know how your numbers are doing and what works for you. It will get better though.

Laptops AND wireless! Gosh, between you and Carin (with her awesome view) I totally missed out a good hospital experience!

Seriously though, this way they will be able to monitor your pressures as well and, if you are really, really lucky you'll be able to do a 24 hr urine - it'll be a one stop checkup! I'm not trying to make light of this at all, I know that it's frustrating and I know it stinks but you are in great hands and, in the end, it's all so worth it...getting closer and closer to the end.

I can highly recommend Bravo TV as a source of endless amusement. Oh, and ETV.
Put a brave smile on - you're doing great and you're in the best possible place...easy to say, I know...

I was on glyburid with Alexa and it seemed to do the trick! I started on at 27 weeks doing the GD diet and then a week later it didn't do a thing and they put me on gluburid and it really did work! Sounds like you have excellent dr.'s so you are being well taken care of but I totally understand the frustration! Hang in there!!

Jen- How are your BPs? Was it your blood sugar that was elevating your pressures yesterday?
