Just an update:

Baby really hasn't moved as much, BUT, I have felt a definite thump and stretch here and there. My bp is great and nothing feels abnormal----just can't wait to see the ultrasound 7 days from today!!!

Also too, at this point have you changed your wardrobe around? 13 weeks you are still wearing regular clothes, but they're tight, but maybe you've gone to looser pants or something...that might make a difference...

These little guys still have a lot of room at this point...maybe he was breech and has flipped or something...that could change what you feel as well, especially depending on the pos'n of the placenta like Carin mentioned.

It's hard not to worry. (((Hugs))) Glad you got the little thump you needed from that babe. :)

I've given birth five times and I can tell you I typically had nerves around 20 weeks or so when I couldn't feel the baby move. My OB said that is pretty typical for around that gestational age. She offered that I could come in anytime I wanted hear the heartbeat. Perhaps your ob will allow the same? But I believe your feelings are natural for how far along you are.

You know I go through the same worries. I've been feeling him since about week 16 on and off.... and sometimes for some days absolutley nothing. I've realized it's probably nothing.... I understand though because it's so hard not to worry... and I am a worry wart normally.

I too felt movement early with my baby and then I got constant movement at about 21 weeks, it's normal but if you are really worried or overly concerned I would put a call into your dr.

im sure its fine, early on i remember feeling the baby only intermittently. if you have an anterior placenta, then it may be more difficult to feel the baby moving. I have an anterior placenta and didnt feel consistent moving until like 22 weeks.

You are still really early for feeling regular movement. But, since you have been feeling movement and it has changed I would just put a call into your doctor - they can let you know if there is reason for concern - having peace of mind is so worth the call.

Take care.
