My BS have been really good! I am eating the same stuff but doing major portion control. It's just us 3 also we are making turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, pot., and cranberry sauce. I have been doing so well I figure I need a break but am doing a MAJOR portion control with it all. My Peri's nurse told me it's okay once in awhile to have fun and I figure Thanksgiving is it for me!:)
Last year I made a diabetic green bean casserole and it was the nastiest thing I ever ate!!

Awesome appointment! Have a great holiday... how are you dealing with the GD and Thanksgiving?

Since it will just be the 3 of us for Thanksgiving (family is coming next week for the baby!), we're just not doing anything. All the yummy stuff I would want is pretty much off limits b/c it's too many carbs. Plus, I'm on "take it easy" until the induction Monday night.

Just curious how you were going to eat for the holiday!

Yesterday I went to my OB for my 35 week appt. and this morning I went to my Peri for my NST, AFI, and US. Yesterday's appt. went really well! My BP was 128/80 and I gained 1lb in 2 weeks if that:) My nurse almost jumped up and down when she read my BP because it's usually high at the OB's office, lol! I had the Group B test done and that is so easy I didn't get it with my first since I didn't make it this far. When my dr. came in he said "what are you doing here you shouldn't be pregnant?!" LOL! I go back to see him in 2 more weeks and then I see him the following week which is the week of my c-section!! I can't believe it!!! At first I thought is was weird I was going back in 2 weeks but I think the fact that I am doing so well and I am seeing my Peri every week he is comfortable with that.
My peri appt. went well. My BP was 119/71:) The NST went well but I guess I was having some contractions, I didn't feel it though. They watched it a little and they weren't consistent and the fact that I wasn't feeling them they were fine with. The nurse told me that it's pretty common being 35 weeks to have contractions like that, it just shows my body is getting ready:) My amniontic fluid level is great and baby is doing great too! I go back next week for another NST, AFI, and US. I can't believe that next week I will be officially 9 months pregnant, I've never been 9 months pregnant!!:))
