I am 16 weeks today and just started feeling movements here and there a few weeks ago (I felt really early with my first).. you forget how wonderful the the first little flutters are! I can't wait to feel them more frequently and push back at the baby. I played tag with the last one.. he still loves it haha.

Congrats! Its one of the most wonderful things..

Oh she loves to start going once I finally lie down, just like Emily did! But I'm so tired at night even her jabs can't keep me awake. :)

That's so reassuring. Hopefully, the baby will let you sleep at night, though, and keep kicking you & moving when you're awake!

I love that feeling. I used to love to watch my little ones move around in my tummy after dinner. Enjoy.

What a great feeling!! I love the movements (well, I could do without his bladder kicks I've been getting lately since he's breech again)!

That is such a wonderful and comforting feeling! I also had an anterior placenta, but felt my baby move alot...especially like you said, if I moved to my back or my right side...she loved me to be on my left side!

Hi Amy

CONGRATS ON FEELING MOVEMENT!! YAY!!! [:)][:)][:)] I know how exciting and reassuring that this is. I am a bit over 18 weeks and my little bean started moving around a couple of weeks ago. This is my 3rd pregnancy though so I think that I am pretty sensitive to everything that goes on down there! (lol)

Anyway, very exciting. Feel free to share anytime.

finally feeling movement

Postby celticepona » Sun Dec 23, 2007 09:38 am

I started to feel Isabelle move around the end of 18 weeks. Now she is making her presence known! My placenta is at the front so she has to kick through it. But now I am feeling her move a bit. She likes to poke me.[:D] Especially if I take a break from lying in my side and lie on my back for a bit...I think she hates that because she really lets me have it. :)Its also alot of fun when she gives me a jab down below![xx(] Yikes. Its all coming back to me now...soon she'll be socking me in the ribs. [:D]
