Thank you so much everyone. It is so nice to come on here to see that I still have such a wonderful support system. You all mean so much to me. It really does feel as though it were only yesterday that all of this happened. I remember coming on here and still being in such shock and having no understanding of what really had just happened. This whole journey is such a strange one. It amazes me how everything still feels.

Over the summer we had the fun task of putting in a yard. We made a trip to one of the local garden shops around here and they had these beautiful "memory stones." so we got one for Kelsi. It even has this little oil lamp that you can light. We have been waiting and waiting and waiting to light it. We lit it last night, although it was only short lived. The wind blew the dang thing out. Maybe we will try again tomorrow as it is the day she passed away.

We took the girls out to Build-A-Bear last night and then to Olive Garden to celebrate Kelsi's Birthday. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks again everyone! I really do love you all and appreciate the love and support you have given me.

Melissa,

I share your feelings exactly - and I know how hard it was for you to write them down.

Much love and peaceful thoughts on Kelsi's birthday - and big hugs to Riley and Kate.

Hi Melissa,

I can't believe it has been four years already. Happy Birthday Kelsi! I know exactly how you feel about everything you said. I truly do. As we approach five years with Grace, I have all those same thoughts....even right down to posting on the Forum! Thanks for sharing. Sending you a big (((HUG))).
