All I can say is heaven is lucky to have such a beautiful angel. I'm glad you made it, sometimes it seems so hard.

Your baby boys pictures are precious, I am glad you were able to do something to honour him on his birthday. Hugs.

It sounds like your celebration of your sweet baby brought you some peace. I went to see his pictures again too...such a beautiful, beautiful child!

I thought I'd let all of you know how our day went on Garrett's birthday (12/19). My husband and I both took the day off work and did some much needed Christmas shopping. We also made a teddy bear for Garrett and then went out for dinner. It had to be somewhat of a low-key day as I haven't been feeling well these days with the pregnancy - but we had a good time together honoring and remembering our beautiful baby boy!

For Zach's first birthday Dh was out of town (Anaheim) for training. I went to the grave that morning and put fresh flowers out. I also wrote on balloons to him from Mommy & Daddy and released them. That night I went down and met Dh and we actually ended up at Disneyland. It was hard to see all of the children but that night they had a fireworks display that was absolutely incredible, out of this world. We knew that was Zach showing us what a party he was having in heaven.

Much love,

Hi Miranda!

For Grace's birthday, Joe and I took the day off work and volunteered for a few hours at CHSFS. Then we had a date and went out to dinner, just the two of us, with Grace's teddy bear [:)] I think we watched our video of her that night when we got back. It was a really nice day for us to remember her.

Oh Miranda I know exactly what you mean by one year seems like forever, but then again it doesn't. I swear when Tyler's 10th anniversay of life and death came this past March I really couldn't get over he's been gone that long. With that being said, I found this great site that has cute gifts for you and your DH...go to www.mommytags.com and daddytags.com - they have a cute necklace that I think you will both like, I have one for myself. I also have a few pieces of jewlery w/ Tyler's birthstone in it. I have never done anything with family - and I"m not married to Tyler's father anymore so its been just all me. This year I went to the cemetary with a big birthday bouqet - and my dad sent one over as well.

No matter what you decide the day will be special!

last year, friends of mine got balloons and wrote Moes name on them , and then released them.
I bought a number "1" candle and we put it at the gravesite along with some flowers..
I hope you get through the day easily...Hugs
