I always felt tired the first couple days on a new blood pressure med, hopefully it is just your body adjusting. Of course let your doc know if it doesn't get better or if your pressures start dropping too low. How are your pressures looking on meds?

I'm alright. They put me on labetalol for my blood pressure. Im not used to it yet so it makes me shaky and tired. Both babies are head down and my doctor felt one of their heads when she examined my cervix.

Thanks for the update, please keep us posted on your progress. And of course don't hesitate to head to L&D if you feel the need. How often are your appointments now?

Yes I try to monitor it when I can. Its been steady. Just telling me keep watching it and go to hospital if it worsens or if new problems arise.

Are you monitoring your pressures at home? I'm assuming you will turn in your 24 hour collection tomorrow, but when is your next appointment with the doctor?

Has your doc given any guidelines on what symptoms or pressures to call in about? Or what would make them more concerned? It might also be a good idea to talk about the possibility of steroid shots, or what hospital you would need to go if things get worse and you might have to deliver early.

Here is a link to our signs and symptoms page if you haven't seen it already: http://www.preeclampsia.org/health-info ... n-symptoms

Are you at the doctor's now? What tests are they running?

If you aren't comfortable with your current level of care you could always ask for a referral to a MFM specializing in high risk pregnancies. Or even head to L&D at a hospital with a high level NICU for a second opinion.
Not yet but I have been doing a 24 hour urine collection. And blood pressure monitoring. The hospital doesn't have a nicu either.
