I can totally relate to how you feel. I tried so hard to ward off preeclampsia and having another preemie. I woke up last week just not feeling right and my blood pressures wouldn't go down. They had been doing what yours had, up and down but always had come down before that. So I had my baby a week ago at 32 weeks. She's actually doing really well and I'm feeling so much better. Just be careful and keep a close eye on everything. You know yourself best and if you feel off, don't hesitate to go in. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Sending lots of low blood pressure vibes your way.

Hope you can feel good and hold off on delivery! Stay on that couch and keep monitoring the bp! Keeping you in my thoughts.

OH, I totally agree. The sitting up numbers made me want to vomit.

I guess since the labs were ok and I'm not spilling much protein (only trace) they're trying to hold off?

She said ALL of my labs were totally NORMAL... but... gosh....

I'm just not moving. I have my couch in front of the computer and I'm firmly planted on my left side here.... and I take my bp every hour....

I'm feeling a little queasy like Laura - hang in there and please don't hesitate to go in if you start feeling worse.

I know they're watching you closely, but your BP's are making me a little queasy. Just promise if you start having visual disturbances or headaches that won't go away that you'll go in, ok? Hang in there- also keeping my fingers crossed that you and the little one can hang on longer!!!

So glad that they are watching you and that you can hold her in for a little while longer. You will be in my prayers for a longer pregnancy with no more complications. Iam on bedrest too and will be praying for your sanity. I know I need mine.
Keep us posted on how you are doing

Morning Update: went to OB

Postby mamakimberly » Wed Jun 16, 2004 11:36 am

Ended up over at the hospital this morning for labs/NST. All is looking good baby-wise, she's strong and hearty.

My labs are still looking ok (they did creatinine, uric acid, cbc, platelets, all that stuff).

So she stays in for now. BP was 140/100 at the office and then from 140-160/95-110 at the hospital, sitting up. Laying down, I am a lot lot lot better.

So I'm at home on bedrest, and I go back on Monday for more labs/NST/etc...

Oh, and I'm spilling trace protein.

I'm just praying to delay delay delay, you know?
