Congrats!!!! Oh... and jaundice can really depend on predisposition. Both my children had it, even though they were 37 and 39 weeks. Ironically my 39 had it worse.

So glad that baby and mommy are doing well!!!!

Wow. That's a healthy sized baby! I'm so glad you're improving and the little one hasn't needed any assistance (aside from what mommy has to help with any way!)

Congrats agin.

My son was born 36 weeks, healthy, 7lbs, 6 oz, no steriods, no NICU. Came home in 2 days. However, he had feeding issues, and me, as a first time mom, didn't know any better and tried BFing - no formula. He slept a lot, which I thought was normal. 24 hrs after release, we went in for weight check - he had lost over a pound, and was readmitted for jaundice. Blue lights, IV, the works. I pumped and fed him, and augmented with formula. I found out when I was pregnant with DS2 that those born healthy but barely pre-term/barely term usually have feeding issues - they are not interested, end up loosing too much weight, and end up with jaundice. When we came home 2 days later, I had to set my alarm to wake up every 2 hours to feed him, because he wouldn't wake up on his own to feed. So make sure your DS is feeding well!
Good luck!

DS came by c-section at 36 weeks, no steroids, no NICU, no breathing help. I do remember being given statistics on the chances DS would need to go to the NICU at that point, particularly if we did a c-section without trial of labor (which we did, my labor was very brief), but I don't remember what they were. Because of other issues, we decided to do an amnio in my case as well, and had plans to deliver the following afternoon if the results came back OK (water broke & delivered before results came back, but they did come back OK).
Good luck to you, I hope it goes well!!
