I will call. Do you think that the protein going down should be a reason to delay induction?? I really hope not.

I'd still call with these numbers, just so she knows, and I would also ask about medication, regardless of the planned induction at 36 weeks.

She knows. I am almost 35 weeks, she is planning on inducing at 36, she told me to call if they didn't drop back down when I was laying.

Do your doctors know about this? I'd be surprised if they don't think medication is necessary with BP this high.

This is still high BP. If I were you, I'd call in and report these numbers, just to be on the safe side. Has your BP only recently gone up that high?

I am not on any medication, I am on bed rest. My bps aren't *staying* that high, but they are getting there. I get down to the high 130s over 90s also....

This is very high BP. Even if you have an appointment tomorrow, I would call reporting this BP. It's too high. I assume you are on BP medication? If so, when did you take it the last time? Are you on bed rest? Protein is not the only important indicator that something is wrong.

UPDATE Confused, help?

Postby ashesashie » Sat Jul 03, 638923 9:30 am

I am really confused right now, honestly. I have been feeling worse the last few days, my bps are climbing higher (172/117) but my protien is DOWN. I really don't know what to think. I see the dr tomorrow, I am honestly afraid that she is going to want to wait longer because of the protien, but I feel like something is wrong. She puts a lot of weight on the protien numbers. I am getting scared for nothing? Should the protien numbers make me feel safer?

UPDATE
Dr says I am doing better because my protien is down from 568 to 300s. I told her about the spikes in my bp and she said I need to stay laying down and that my lowered protien meant the bps weren't harming my body. I told her I was really worried, she said to stop checking bp at home, that she was seeing me often enough that i didn't need to, and i was only stressing myself out. She said her goal was 38 weeks now but she at least wants to get to 36. I should be happy, this is all great news, but really, I am just scared.
