Hi - I'm a newbie and just read your story. I just wanted to say so pleased it had a happy ending and that Grayson is here and doing well. PE is such a shock when it happens after an otherwise smooth pregnancy, and as 1 previous poster said, so sorry you missed out on the birth experience you had planned.

FWIW, we had feeding problems at the start too, and Harrison was bottle and tube fed for the 1st 2 weeks, and then we weaned (very slowly as he was so weak) back onto BF just fine - giving us the great advantage of a baby who would switch happily from breast to bottle even in the middle of a feed!

Wishing you and Grayson a speedy recovery

H

Congratulations! I wish you a good physical and mental recovery. For me it took a while until I fully realized that I was affected by the fact that I didn't have the birth I had hoped for and it took me a while to fully accept that. So, if you need to talk, please post here!

In case you want to breastfeed, please don't hesitate to contact a breastfeeding counsellor. I seems to me, that the best to built up your milk supply is to nurse instead of pumping? Maybe I misunderstood?
