Hello,

Well after much evaluation of the situation, monitoring of my disease progression (slow but steady) - it was medically advised, and honestly the best decision, to be induced yesterday at 22 weeks 2 days.

Vincent Patrick was born this morning at 10:17 a.m.. He was born without a heartbeat. He weighed only 9 ounces and was 10 inches long. This made me feel as though his growth really had stopped about 4 weeks ago and he had IUGR ( as opposed to just hearing the doctors saying it).

We spent 6 hours with my son. We took many pictures with him and even fell asleep for 2 hours with my hubby and I on the hopital bed and Vincent on my chest. I have the clothes they put him in for pictures. We are having him cremated and buried with the cremated remains of my hubby's parents.

I am still on mag now and feel awful. Thanks for the support. Healing is going to be a very long road indeed.

Jamie
