What wonderful news :) Congratulations...and hang in there with the bfing...I pumped while ds was in the NICU and got hardly any (for 4 weeks) and when he got home and started in, whammy..I had udders!!:)

"Severely calcified" probably just means it was really mature -- which is true of most preeclamptic placentas.

Hang in there with the nursing! The first little bit is hard, especially trying to build up your supply. Have you talked to a lactation consultant?
