I have manual and digital BP(omron 711) monitors by Omron.Automatic one is easy to operate and gives reliable readings mostly.

I have an Omron machine that reads the same as when my DH takes my bp manually.

I had another Omron for my pregnancy with my daughter and I thought it was broken when all along I was getting pre-e. Now I know better.

I have the Omron automatic as well. It is Intellisense model HEM-711. Seems pretty accurate. Reads the same as another monitor we have in the house.

Funny, we have 2 montiors b/c when my BP's started rising post partum last time, we laughed at the reading and said -- this thing is broken... we bought the Omron and realized the machines weren't broken, I was!!!

it's really not funny, but well -- for those who have seen crazy BP's, you know that the first time you see it, you're like == no way can that be right!

I also have an Omron that I purchased at Sam's Club. It is very reliable. I would highly recommend it.

I have an automatic omron as well as a manual one. My preference is for the automatic.

Just tried to search the post and am having trouble as well. I think that she mentioned omron.

On a side note, I have an automatic omron and LOVE it, I ordered mine online.

Second trimester dip?

I know there's a recent post from Anne on this but I am having tons of luck hanging the search function, and I can't remember the brand she mentioned.

Am wondering the same thing- had the manual pump Omrom ($30) from wally's that seemed accurate but then quit working, and the more expensive ReliOn ($69) also from Wally's but it keeps telling me that my systolic is 100, which I've not known it to be while awake during my adult life.
