There's light at the end of my tunnel!! They're going to induce me on Tuesday (Valentine's Day) if I don't go into labor sooner. Yeah! 4 more days of pregnancy worries, then onto baby worries!! Amazingly, my BP was perfect yesterday 128/68 and after being prodded with apple juice, baby did well on the NST, but Dr. agreed that we just keep upping my aldomet dosage, and worrying about the BP, headaches, and floaters all the time - it's probably better to have baby out then to stay in too long. Of course, last night my BP went up to 156/95, so my conclusion is that I'm okay so long as I'm in bed, then I get functional for a couple of hours and I'm back up. It will be so nice to have this part of everything over with! Wishing all of you well too.

Why do doctors insist on waiting when you are already at 38-39 weeks? AHHHH I don't understand. I wish you a safe and fast delivery!

Wishing you a safe and swift delivery! I know you'll be holding that sweet babe in your arms soon.

Your bp is high...so take care.

Karen,

I was just checking back in before bed - glad to hear back from you!

I'll be looking forward to an update tomorrow! Hopefully one that says you're on your way out the door to have a healthy baby!

My Dr. said to call at or over 165/105. I have been on BP meds for 5 years for migraines accompanied by high BP's. Back in September we took me off my meds because my BP was too low. We put me back on in November when it started creeping up. Now we just keep increasing dosages every couple of weeks. I'll log back on tomorrow after my appt. unless they decide to induce me right away or I go into active labor!

I too think that I would call in with that bp - just give L&D a call and go on in there to get checked out. Aren't you really close to 40 weeks??? Take care.
