Hi - sorry I didn't see these postings earlier!
Denise - YES we will be selling them at the MN walk!
Dawn - $10 is actually a pretty reasonable price when you see them. Espcially since it is being sold specifically as a fundraiser.
Thanks!

Available Now!-Promise Shared Star Charms
Re : Available Now!-Promise Shared Star Charms
must they be sold at $10? is it best to have a "universal" sale amount? (Of course 70 % profit is great), but might sell more of them at the walk sites if they could be bought with a smaller bill that more people might have in their pocket that day.
I am interested in having these at my site no matter what the cost. I will do some figuring and get back to you with an order.

Available Now!-Promise Shared Star Charms
Here's a great way to raise money for the WAT or for your local "chapter." Philanthropy Twist, LLC sells "Promised Shared" stars that can be used to raise money for the Foundation. The idea is to buy a star and name it for someone you love or lost. Then you state a promise you make to that person. The star is to constantly remind you of that promise. For example, I named my star after my baby Grace and my promise is to devote my life to help spread awareness of and find a cure for preeclampsia. Then whenever someone asks you what the star is for, you tell them what you named it and what your promise is.
The cost per star is $3, but they can be sold for $10 each, allowing for a 70% profit for the Foundation. The star can be used has a small chain on it so you can hang it on your purse, on your keys, on your belt, etc. You can sell them to anyone because everyone has someone or something that they make a "promise" to.
If you are interested in ordering some stars, email me how many you want sent to you. This is a great way to raise money at the WAT, during the summer, and for your "chapter!" Here in Minneapolis we are going to sell them as part of the WAT and in preparation for the National fundraiser in November.
The only requirement is that we ask you to pay for the stars up front (at $3 each), and then we will reimburse you that cost once you sell the stars and send us the money. The reason we need to do this is to monitor our costs and ensure that the stars are being sold. It would not be fiscally responsible for us to buy stars and send them to someone to sell when there is a chance that they end of sitting in a drawer and never get sold.
We have already sold over 100 of them in Minneapolis and they are definitely a hot item, so I encourage you to consider buying some to sell to help raise profits for the PF.
Let me know if you have any questions!
