Re : It Has Been Quiet...

<t>You are all so wonderful!!!!!<br/> <br/> Julie - I definitely understand your feelings about the family stuff - my sister in law told my husband that we needed to do Thanksgiving becuase they lost William too and we needed to be together. I found myself getting defensive when Mike told me that. I...

Re : It Has Been Quiet...

<t>Yes - it has been quiet here. There is a LOT coming up and I just keep hoping my fears are worse than the reality. One week from today was Williams due date - so far I am doing pretty well - have made it thru the guy across the hall at work having their baby - and when I first found out I was pre...

Re : side effects of bp meds

<r>Michaela - <br/> <br/> I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my son in July and had a lot of problems with my bp afterwards. I ended up back in the hospital a week later with post partum pree and still had a lot of spikes in my bp for the next 7 weeks. If your dr is recomnmending the meds I would s...

Re : ? for those who had high BP or PE

<t>You will get every range of answers to this question - unfortunately mine did not have a happy ending. I had hbp prior to pg - at 13 wks my ob sent me to a peri who changed my bp medication as he felt it was dangerous for the baby - turned out that what he changed me to was dangerous for me and m...

Re : fluctuating BP

I recorded all of mine and let the dr look at them - mine tended to be highest in the morning. In the hospital they found that I had sleep apnea - and that contributed to the high morning readings as my body wasn't getting the rest it needed.

Re : PIH Concerns

<t>If the aldomet isn't working for you - talk to your doctor - it did nothing for my blood pressure. I started on 250mg 3x's a day and within the next 7 weeks changed to 500mg 3x's per day and then 1000mg 3 x's per day - with no improvements. Luckily you are into the latter weeks of your pregnancy!...

Re : How to deal with what was to be due date

<t>Thank you to all of you. I have put in to take that week off from work - but told my boss I'll decide what I am doing for sure when the time comes - it's too hard to know yet. Unfortunately my husband won't be able to take the time off - but he was there during the time we were pregnant with Will...

How to deal with what was to be due date

<t>Looking for how others dealt with the approaching day that was to have been their due date or are currently dealing with it. What was to have been Will's due date is still 5 weeks away but I am already becoming a mess over it. I can't decide if I should work that week or take the week off I'm sup...
